CBTM: You are completing twenty years of career. Which were their largest happiness in the table tennis?
HUGO HOYAMA: They were a lot of happiness even, of course the most significant was the medals of gold that I conquered in Pan-American Games, also to have disputed 4 Olympic Games, 5 Pans, 13 World Championships, to expire 6 times the Latin-American, they are marks that I find difficult somebody to reach.
CBTM: In your opinion, which are the largest promises of Brazilian TT? Would you indicate a successor?
HUGO: They are many the athletes that appeared in the last years, Thiago Monteiro, Cazuo Matsumoto, Gustavo Tsuboi, Bruno Anjos, Reinaldo Yamamoto, Thiago are more experienced, but all have chances of they get good results to Brazil.
CBTM: His/her career has more or less or time of president's Alaor administration in CBTM. Since you began, which improvements in the sport you detected?
HUGO: Alaor is a person that I admire a lot, that it helped me whenever possible, and it is struggling a lot for the good of our sport. I always say him that when he/she needs of my help, I will be ready for that.
CBTM: Which the largest friendship than you did in the sport? Is there some enmity?
HUGO: I made a lot of friends, so much here as in the exterior, and happily I didn't make such "serious" enmity, only some faces that don't like me, because they don't know me... hehehehe
CBTM: The life of any athlete is sacrificant. Are you sorry for some of these sacrifices?
HUGO: I am not sorry for any sacrifice, everything that I stopped doing, was worth the feather for the results that I obtained until today.
CBTM: You are going to his 5th Olympics in 2008 with 39 years. Can for what wait of Hugo in Pequin we?
HUGO: He/she looks, if I participate in this Olympics, I will try to close with key of my gold participations for the Brazilian Selection. But my main focus is Pan 2007.

CBTM: As all know you are purple palmeirense. Like you this sells this resurrection of the team of Tite, Edmundo and cia?
HUGO: Very good, now the team is approximating where it deserved to be, that I believe to be among them classified for to Liberators. For the that I read until today, the work that Tite did on the athletes' psychological side it was very important, rescuing the trust of all.

CBTM: Pan 2007. You are hindered with swimmer Gustavo Borges as record breaker of medals in Pans. How is the heart knowing that you can become the largest Brazilian Olympic athlete and to get this record playing at his/her country?
HUGO: I am calm, I want first to get ready a lot to be well in the Games and to struggle for the medals, and in case I get to win 1 or 2, it will be consequence of this work that I am doing. Of course wants to leave marked my name in the history of the national sport, but I am with the feet in the ground, because I know that it will be a very difficult stop, I will have strong opponents, as the 2 Brazilians that will play, more Lin Ju of the Dominican and Liu Song of
