BRAZIL IN THE LUSOFONIA'S GAMES

The Brazilian selection of table tennis is getting beautiful results in the Games of Lusofonia, that are being disputed in the Chinese city of Macau. 

 

In the feminine couples, Brazil is already gold and silver, since Mariany Nonaka and Lígia Silva will face Karin Sako and Jéssica Yamada in the dispute of the title. In the masculine couples, the result was not so good, because Ricardo Kojima and Eric Mancini lost on Wednesdays of ends for 4 to 1 of the Portuguese couple, as well as Artur Requejo and Humberto Manhani they were defeated by 4 to 3 before the couple from Macau. 

 

In the mixed couples Lígia and Ricardo dispute one of the semifinals against the Portuguese couple while, Gabriela Kock and Artur Requejo dispute a vacancy in the final against Macau. 

 

In the individual tournament, Lígia Silva and Karin Sako for they have if classified in first in their respective groups, they are already guaranteed in the semifinals. Mariany Nonaka faces Tam Sut Fei, of Macau for a vacancy in the semifinal against Lígia Silva. 

 

In the individual masculine, Eric Mancini lost two of their three games and it was eliminated in the phase of groups. Ricardo Kojima and Humberto Manhani proceed in the dispute. 

 

The coach of the selection, Lincon Yasuda have good words to the medical department, that it is being quite used by the Brazilian team: 

 

"The mounted Medical Department in the hotel, it has been important to put our athletes in game conditions. Humberto complaining about tendinite in the fist and Karin, with pains in the shoulder, it is making physiotherapy sessions daily. Eric was complaining about pains in the throat, it presented fever and it was also practiced medicine properly, entering in game conditions."
