.The School Olympic Games start in 2005 to substitute the Brazilian School Games (JEBs), that you/they had his/her 26th and last edition argued in Brasília in 2004. They have as objective promotes the social inclusion starting from the sport, complemental the pedagogic education in the schools of the public and private net of the whole country, besides detecting new talents for the Brazilian sport. Fruit of a partnership among the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) and the Ministry of the Sport, the competition will have the duration of two Olympic cycles, until December of 2012, could be renewable for equal period. They will use, in what it fits and in agreement with the permissible limit, Lei Agnelo/Piva's resources.
Maid starting from JEBs, that you/they gathered and they mobilized the Brazilian youth during more than two decades, the School Olympic Games will congregate, according to the regulation, enrolled students and indeed studying institutions of medium and fundamental teaching recognized by Ministry of Education, be them public or toilets. An institution is not allowed to enroll athletes to study another school.
The School Olympic Games will be disputed annually in stages municipal, state and national. In that way, they will arrive to the national dispute the schools that have if classified firstly in the municipal stage and, later, in the state. With the Academical Olympic Games, the School Olympic Games integrate an unprecedented project in the history of the student sport in the country.
In the table tennis, the competition is disputed in the categories by teams, couples, mixed and individual couples. The tournament for teams began on this Saturday, with division in eight keys, and it finishes on this Monday.
