The Umpires and Referees Committee has awarded the `Blue Badge' to twelve international umpires.
The `Blue Badge' is the highest award for an umpire; in order to gain the award an umpire must have attended an Advanced Umpires' Training Course, passed a written examination and an oral test in English plus when umpiring at international tournaments have met the necessary requirements by three evaluators on four occasions at two events.
