In a brazilian final, Mariany Nonaka and Lígia Silva won Karin Sako and Jéssica Yamada for 4 sets to 1, with partial of 11/5, 11/8, 6/11, 11/8 and 11/6.
Karin and Jessica had a hard confrontation in the semifinal, where they won the couple from Macau for 4 to 3, with partial of 12/10, 11/6, 8/11, 11/8, 10/12, 9/11 and 11/8. Already Mariany and Lígia had a less little of work to defeat the table-tennis players of Macau Tam Sut Fei and Wang Iok Sin for 4 to 2, with 7/11, 12/10, 11/9, 5/11, 11/7 and 11/9
The result mark as the first two medals of Brazil in the competition.
