HUGO HOYAMA IS CHAMPION OF RATING A

The tennis table player Hugo Hoyama, record breaker of medals of gold in Pan-American games, conquered on this Sunday (17/12), in Guarulhos, São Paulo, the Brazilian Championship of individual Table tennis. Hoyama also expired in the decision the Pan-American silver medal Bruno Anjos for 3 sets to 1, partial of 5-11, 11-6, 11-8 and 11-7. 

"I felt my movements a little arrested in certain moments in this competition, but it was important to win Bruno in the decision. He is a player of high level and a victory as this it motivates me a lot", Hugo Hoyama says, that conquered his sixth Brazilian title. 

The game began complicated for Hoyama. Aggressive, Bruno Anjos opened five points in the first set and he closed the partial in 5-11. However, in the following sets, Hugo Hoyama knew how to use of his experience and he closed the departure.  

"The game was arrested, without many beautiful plays. But the important is always to expire. Tomorrow already I again and now every focus is gone back to the Pan-American Games. The Selective for Pan happens in January and I won't have time to rest", affirms Hugo Hoyama. 

The Selective Final for the Pan-American Games it will happen from 9 to January 11, in place that will still be defined by the Brazilian Confederation of Table tennis. They participate in the selective eight tennis table players in the masculine and eight in the feminine. Three athletes in each category are classified for the Pan-American Games 2007. Besides Hugo Hoyama, they dispute the Selective Final: Bruno Anjos, Cazuo Matsumoto, Gustavo Tsuboi, Reinaldo Yamamoto, Ricardo Kojima, Thiago Monteiro, Tiago Lopez, Carina Murashige, Claudia Ikeizumi, Gabriela Kock, Karin Fukushima, Karin Sako, Ligia Silva, Maira Ranzeiro and Mariany Nonaka.
