As it went a wonderful experience to me, I would like to count a here little of what happened at the back stages of this event. I arrived at Ibirapuera about 9 o'clock, when almost nobody had still arrived, we were attending - me and my bride Tânia - the race of Formula 1, and in that middle time went arriving to the stars.
Almost in the end of the race, I saw leaned in a fence that there was inside of the room, Thiago Lacerda. I went to greet him and, before even of coming, he said: - Does he speak to Hugo, everything well? I was very happy for him to have recognized me, that demonstrates the name that I conquered and the titles that he/she brought to our country are recognized not only for the apprentices of the sport, but also for people of different branches.
Tânia wanted to take a picture, later we talked a little, and we returned to our table, where we were until that the production came to invite us to go to Edson Celulari's dressing room at the request of own Edson. While we went to the dressing room, I asked for the personnel of the production which would be my participation in the program and, for my surprise, I was knowing that I would make a game with Edson Celulari, Bruno Gagliasso and Daniele Suzuki, once again I was honest in could publish the Table tennis beside people so known in the media.
We arrived to Edson's dressing room and him reminded that we had already found ourselves once, about 15 years ago, in a Hotel in Wells of Caldas and in that opportunity he said that he/she adored to play table tennis. We began to talk on how we could do in the stage and him he/she admitted that he/she already bought even DVDs of championships, besides of the World championship of
Powders about 10 minutes in that there we were, Thiago Lacerda also appeared at the dressing room, we continued talking, talking about the sport, or better, on the sports, since Thiago adores Swimming.
Some time later Bruno arrived, and later Daniele. All with a lot of simplicity. We talked of everything: sports, works of them, my career, and conquests, besides my expectations for Pan 2007. Finally, it was really very legal!
I didn't know that it would play at the stage, so much that nor I was uniformized and I asked for some of the organizers of the event to show me the rackets that we would use and fortunately I made that, because they were ping-pong rackets, literally, of madeirão, and the colored balls, those very hard ones. Tânia volunteered to return home, to look for my racket and more three so that they could also play with quality rackets. I eat there was still time for that, nobody thought twice before accepting his/her help. She brought 4 rackets, I glued erasers in the ones that didn't have, and a thing that I never imagined happened that will happen: inside of the dressing room, tight, we caught 1 racket each, and we were playing there inside, a playing the ball for other, it was very funny. On this hour, unhappily, Thiago had already left the dressing room.
But impressive same it was Edson's interest, because he likes Table tennis a lot and he/she asked me where he/she could buy a good racket, where in
He arrived the hour of we go on the air, we waited in the corridor, and again there were "playing ball", all were looking, laughing, a lot of people stopped to remove a picture with them, while we were waiting appeared Didi greeted Edson, Daniele and Bruno. Edson presented me to him and he said that I played a lot and that it was for them to take care with me, always of that playful way, I was very happy with that. In fact, he was feeling very happy, recognized and valued.
We were called to enter, I greeted Luciano Huck, Angélica and Ana Maria Braga, all also very nice and then we began to play. Usually I would be nervous, but for a long time that we were talking and playing at the dressing room, I felt of the "group", and it was very calm in the stage.
As soon as it finished the presentation, we returned to the dressing room, we caught the things and we said goodbye to them. Edson gave me his/her contacts, so that I contacted him/it to say on places that he can practice etc., I wanted a lot of success to them and all wanted the same for me.
Good, he/she only wanted to leave registered that only experience, because I never imagined that that could happen, very important also to show to who doesn't know them personally that they are very educated, nice and very simple people. Tânia and I adored the moments in that we were there.
